FHA Required Documentation
You will need the following documentation for your FHA Mortgage:
- Copy of driver's license and social security card
- Paystubs covering 30 day period
- 2 years W2s or tax returns if self-employed
- 2 months bank statements, all pages
- Current investment account statement
- Homeowners insurance information
- Copy of business license or articles of incorporation, if self-employed
For an FHA Refinance:
- Copy of mortgage note
- HUD-1 settlement statement from closing of current mortgage
- Copy of mortgage statement
For an FHA Purchase:
- Copy of sales contract
Items which may be required, if applicable:
- Bankruptcy discharge paperwork
- Divorce decree
- Credit report specific documentation
