FHA Gift
If you don't have quite enough saved to buy a home, or need some help with the cost of refinancing, FHA allows borrowers to receive an FHA Gift for some or all of the down payment and closing costs involved in the transaction.
The donor must be a blood-relative, and the funds must be sourced, which means that the donor must provide documentation to prove that it was their money to give and that they had sufficient funds to give.
FHA also allows for a non-occupying co-signer if you need help with other qualifying factors.
